Counselling

We offer a holistic counselling service to help people explore their difficulties and concerns, and to develop more satisfying and resourceful ways of living. Counselling is about encouraging people and their families towards wholeness. Confidential and professional service with a strict code of ethics. All our work is professionally supervised. We provide safe, professional counselling on a variety of issues including

Counselling hours are Tuesday - Thursday 10.00 a.m. - 5.00 p.m.

Fees for counselling are always negotiable.
Life Care, under Life Enrichment Trust is a non-profit organisation, and a registered charity.
Much of our work is done by volunteers.

Our new building is soon to open.


Currently the counselling staff are -

Barbara Hooker, B.Couns., CBM, MNZAC, Life Care manager.
Barbara works from a client centered model and is also a parent educator, trained in Attachment Disorders, and the Three Houses information gathering tool.

Ian Hooker, family educator and pastor, works from a family systems model and is also trained in Theophostic, faith based prayer ministry
