Our children, their spouses and their children, our grandchildren, of which we are very proud. We are putting many new practices into place, as we navigate this world of grandparenthood.
We have shifted our parenting style from that of 'Chaotic'/'Ruling' towards the 'bonding' parent,also becoming 'bonding' grandparents.
This is so awesome. We see each other regularly, we don't all live in the same part of the country, but e-mails and phone calls and visits keep us closer together. Ian and Barbara are just loving watching the next generation grow up to make their mark on society. There's a little way to go yet, but the early years are important towards making good things happen in their lives.
